Wines Rosé Wines
Rosé wines are produced from red castes through a special fermentation process. After a short period of time the grape skin is taken out because some of the rosé colouration has already been transferred. A fermentation process follows that is similar to the one used in white wines (fermentation without the grape skin). The mixture of white and red wines to produce rosé wine is only allowed in France.
The rosés can acquire different tonalities: from pale pink to bright red. Its flavour results from the balance between the characteristics of white (lightness and softness) and red (fruit aromas, specially the red ones, are highlighted) wine.
