The Vineyard Presentation
Purchased in 2003, Quinta do Vidiedo was in preparation until 2008, the year in which it changed its name to Quinta do Pôpa.
So it was in 2008 that a new cycle was started at Quinta do Pôpa, with a dynamic project structured to bring in the products of the Douro in all their splendour.
Located in the heart of the Douro, in the hot and dry region of Cima Corgo, the Vineyard is blessed with a high quality soil, from which rise the vines planted on the terraced hills along the banks of Douro, a favourable climate, and noble castes.
The production method reconciles the most sophisticated techniques with centuries of rigorous tradition, such as vinification by treading the grapes in granite presses at a controlled temperature.
Our products are born from nature and tradition, from the harmonious wedding between soil, climate, love and the art of man.
