Wine produced from the Vinhas Velhas (Old Vines) which are over 60 years old belonging to the Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca castes. These vineyards are located in an excellent location of the Douro region.
This wine was prepared in first year French oak 225 L barrels for four months.
It is a lightly filtered product and may create depot with ageing.
To be served at a temperature of 16° - 18°C.
Production: 3333 bottles.
Tasting Notes
The aroma is very concentrated with notes of chocolate and vanilla. It is full bodied, vinous and velvety. It presents a prolonged and rounded taste.
