Trincadeira
Trincadeira is a caste specially cultivated in the Douro region where it’s designated as Tinta Amarela. It is a caste that has medium and compact bunches and medium round berries. It´s sensitive to diseases and rotting (if the berries get rained on they rot easily) developing better in dry and very hot climates. The wines produced are rich in colour and aroma (specially fruity and vegetable), low alcoholic and with good conditions for ageing.
