Malvasia Fina
Malvasia Fina is essentially produced in the north interior of Portugal, more precisely in the Douro region. It is a cast that does not tolerate very high temperatures, therefore its necessary to study the ideal time for the grape picking season in order to avoid the deterioration of the berries. It’s particularly sensitive to rotting and to some diseases and vine plagues such as the powdery mildew and “desavinho” (coulure). The Malvasia Fina produces wines with moderate acidity and delicate and simple aromas and flavours.
